Millennium Bank renovates its branch office in West Vail

Special to the Daily Officers and directors of Millennium Bank held a groundbreaking ceremony for the company's West Vail branch Wednesday

VAIL – Millennium Bank has begun renovation of its West Vail branch, at 2111 N. Frontage Road. The construction is scheduled to be completed in late June.

“This investment is a statement by Millennium Bank that it is excited about Vail and Vail’s future,” said Scott Proper, vice president of Millennium Bank.Millennium Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Millennium Bancorp, Inc., opened its first branch at 1140 Edwards Village Boulevard in Edwards in September of 2001.

“We decided to open this Vail branch primarily at the suggestion of our current and prospective clients,” said Donald Mengedoth, chairman of Millennium Bank. “This new branch will augment our ability to provide our clients with an unprecedented level of personal service, professional expertise, and banking products, including tax and financial planning services.”The branch is located in the Vail das Schone shopping center in West Vail, next to Ace Hardware. It will be 4,000 square feet once completed, and also has a drive-thru kiosk in the parking lot with 24-hour ATM, drive-thru teller window, and night depository.

The kiosk is scheduled to be completed in May. “Many who visit our Edwards branch comment that it reminds them of the way banks used to be, and our Vail branch will be no different,” said Terry Halverson, president and CEO of Millennium Bank.Vail Colorado
