MINTURN – The town wants to put Minturn’s future in citizens’ hands.Minturn leaders are recruiting residents to join a committee and express their opinions on development in town. Current topics for discussion include the development of 6,000 acres south of Minturn, which developer Bobby Ginn hopes to annex to the town, and the best use of forest service parcel that could come up for sale.”They’ll be talking about what’s going on in the community and will provide some built-in feedback to the council and (planning and zoning commission),” said Nicole Magistro, economic development director for Minturn. The committee also will appoint a representative to serve on a committee specifically for guiding Ginn’s development, Magistro said.
