Minturn’s Christmas on Main Street set for Saturday
Vail, CO Colorado
MINTURN, Colorado – The Minturn Community Fund and the Holy Cross Powder Hounds Snowmobile Club will host a holiday celebration intent on bringing together friends and families who call Minturn and the valley home. On Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. enjoy the hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows over wood fires, making holiday ornaments and catching up with friends and family at Minturn’s Christmas on Main Street celebration. Everyone is welcome at this free event. There will be plenty of fires and hot drinks to keep fingers warm and many familiar faces to warm you.
Included in the festivities will be the arrival of Santa by snowmobile and a gathering to light the newly decorated tree at the entrance to town. Santa will arrive at 4 p.m. Santa Claus will have just enough time to say hello to all the kids, young and old, before he must depart back up the hill and head North for final preparations. After Santa’s departure, participants will gather together to welcome in the Holiday season as Mayor Hawkeye Flaherty lights the tree next to The Yarn Studio.
