Miranda Alexa Aragon, EVHS
Miranda Alexa Aragon Eagle Valley High SchoolTown you live in: Gypsum. In the valley for: 17 years.Have you been affected by senioritis: Senioritis is unavoidable to all seniors. The affects and the length of time you have it varies. Senioritis hit me in February with a few months left of school, because the end is so near. I am dealing with my senioritis by reminding myself that I need to finish out these last months, and then I am done with school, at least until the fall. Future plans: I am going to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder in the fall, as an open option major in the College of Arts and Sciences.Fondest high school memory: Aimlessly driving around on a Friday night because everything closes at 9. All of the football games. Prom 2008, best prom ever!!! Homecoming 2007. Link Crew sleep over. Basketball games. Our Super Bowl weekend against Battle Mountain and Steamboat. Hanging out with my friends. How your high school has prepared you for the future: High school is the foundation of life. Throughout my four years, I have been taught many life lessons involving not only academics but social aspects as well. I will leave Eagle Valley with the ability to write a scholarly paper (thanks comp!), work in diverse groups, and manage numerous commitments at one time. Something few people know about you: I love steamed artichoke! What makes you smile: Acting silly with my best buds. A cheesy horror film. Ben & Jerrys half-baked. My family. Super Bad. Candid photos. Scenario photos (earthquake!!!). Monkey sounds. Singing along to Pieces of Me by Britney Spears in my car.

Are we seeing more bears because there are more bears on the valley floor, or because we’re all spending more time at home? It could be a bit of both.
