Mise-en-Scene hosts art show
July 16, 2010
EDWARDS – Mise-en-Scene will host its summer, semi-annual show of Post Impressionist art from Thursday through July 28 at its 3,000-square-foot showroom in Edwards. Northern Light Art, specializing in Post Impressionist art since 1999, will present the show.
Painted by museum-collected European artists from 1890-1920, the subject matter includes mountain and snow pieces, horses and other animals, landscapes, village and town scenes, seascapes, and several figurative pieces. The show can be previewed at http://www.northernlightart.com/PostImpressionism.htm.
Denise Bryant-Rives, owner of Mise-en-Scene for Home, notes how the timeless elegance of these paintings complement her luxury model home furniture, designer selections and one-of-a kind finds.
Opening reception will be held on from 4-7 p.m. Thursday. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Mise-en-Scene is located in Edwards Village Center at 0105 Edwards Village Blvd A209 (above the Post Office). For more information, call Denise Bryant-Rives at 970-926-5301.
