More snow expected in Vail

National Weather ServiceWindy and warm conditions will develop today ahead of a cold front that will cross eastern Utah and western Colorado late this afternoon and evening.

VAIL, Colorado ” More snow is expected in the Vail Valley as the ski season winds down.

Meteorologist predict a storm will drop 4 to 8 inches through Thursday night. A winter weather advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday through midnight Thursday night.

Winds of up to 25 mph will create areas of blowing and drifting snow, the National Weather Service said.

Beaver Creek’s last day of the season is Sunday. Vail closes the following Sunday, April 19.
