More snow headed to Vail

VAIL, Colorado ” The second in a series of three snow storms is headed for Colorado’s Vail Valley Tuesday, said Bryon Lawrence, a forecaster with the National Weather Service.

“We’re going to be getting some good snow,” Lawrence said. “We’re kind of making up for that warm pattern we were in for most of November.”

The storm should bring about 3-5 inches of snow to Vail and more to Vail Mountain by the end of Tuesday night, Lawrence said.

There will be a break in the weather Wednesday before another storm hits the area Wednesday night, Lawrence said. It’s too early to tell how much snow that storm will bring, he said.

“There isn’t going to be any shortage of snow for the ski resorts this weekend,” Lawrence said.
