More snow to fall Monday, Tuesday
VAIL — Forecasters expect snow to continue Monday and Tuesday as a large storm passes through Colorado.
The National Weather Service is calling for an additional 1-3 inches through Tuesday for Vail.
A winter storm warning remains in effect until noon Tuesday.
In his Vail forecast, Joel Gratz of opensnow.com says he expects another wave of steady snow to arrive around midday Monday and continue through the night.
“I expect 3-6 inches of additional snow by Tuesday morning,” he said.
Vail and Beaver Creek mountains reported 5 inches of new snow as of Monday morning.
