Gypsum Creek Middle School presents "Guys and Dolls Jr." on Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. Set in a mythical New York City, "Guys and Dolls Jr." introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the musical theatre canon: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight "mission doll"; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, a nightclub performer whose chronic flu is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiance, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating dice game. Tickets cost $5 and doors open each night at 6:30 p.m. The musical has sold out for five years in a row. If you would like to attend, please buy your ticket early to ensure that you have a seat. Tickets are being sold now at Gypsum Creek Middle School from 8 to 8:30 a.m., or you can also call Annette Fritzsche at 970-328-4791 to reserve tickets.
