More Town Talk for March 14

Vail, CO, Colorado
Thank you, thank you, thanks to you all! Because of you, Dr. Seuss night at the Gypsum Public Library was a ball! The library would like to thank many in the community for helping, donating and participating in our “Dr. Seuss Is Loose! Family Fun Night!” We believe more than 150 children and their families attended. It was great to see moms, dads and children reading, creating and learning together! Special thanks go out to Gypsum Public Library Staff and our wonderful helpers, who included many students from Gypsum Creek Middle School and Eagle Valley High School. We would also like to thank our guest readers, Stephanie Roybal from the town of Gypsum and Tina Klein from Gypsum Elementary School for making sure kids were reading “The Lorax” before seeing the movie! We had wonderful community partners who made generous donations: Capitol Theater, Columbine Market, CSU Extension Office, The Garden Center of Gypsum and Wildflower Farm. Thank you for making prizes, environmental seed projects and snacks available! Thanks again! The Gypsum Public Library is looking forward to more community events! Remember: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” — Dr. Seuss, “The Lorax.”
