More Town Talk for Sept. 5

Mountain Valley Horse Rescue is pleased to announce a very happy ending! The mule and mammoth jack that wandered into Wildridge last week were tracked down and reclaimed by their happy owner Monday! The critters had escaped a pasture near Piney Lake and were headed towards their home when they stumbled into the Wildridge neighborhood last Tuesday. Avon Police got them rounded up, and called Mountain Valley Horse Rescue to help house them until an owner could be found ... and after a few days of vacation at MVHR they are headed home! Thank you so much to the Avon Police Department for getting these guys caught, and thank you to the mules for their generous donation to MVHR in appreciation of their care. Happy trails, boys!
