More Town Talk for Sept. 7

Vail, CO, Colorado
Roxanna Chaney, a TV8 essay contest winner, received a free entry into this year's IronKids event at Avon and was thrilled to finish the 150-yard swim, four-mile bike ride and the one-mile run. She is a student-athlete at the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy.

Tell us what’s going on around town so we can talk about it.

Call: 970-748-2933. Submissions must be received by noon prior to the day of desired publication.

Thanks for all the photo submissions. We really appreciate them, and we want you to have your photos back! Please pick up your photos at the front office of the Daily within 30 days. Photos not picked up by then will be filed in the infamous File 13, never to be seen again.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
