Are you interested in having a great time, winning prizes and socializing with coworkers? The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon takes place Sept. 20 at Bol in Vail and Sept. 21 at The Back Bowl in Eagle. Junior Achievement’s goal is to create generations of young people who are financially literate, work force ready and entrepreneurial. All the money that is raised will go directly toward kindergarten to 12th-grade classroom programs here in Eagle County. It’s easy to participate! Teams of five sign up for two hours of bowling, which includes shoe rental, pizza, beer or soda and fun! There is a $150 team registration fee, and each bowler agrees to fundraise or contribute $100. Each team that raises $500 provides materials for a volunteer to teach a classroom of 34 students. If you are interested in participating, please contact Heather Lewis at 970-479-3310 or by email at email@example.com.
