AVON — Mountain Standard Time visits Agave Saturday night as part of the group’s tour through mountain towns in Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Montana. After Agave, the band will make its way to Colorado’s Front Range for its annual Mardi Grass celebrations with special guest Tim Carbone, of Railroad Earth in Boulder, Denver and Fort Collins.

With Zack Scott on drums, Nick Dunbar and Stanton Sutton on mandolin and guitar, Otis Lande on bass and Ryan Ebarb on keyboards, Mountain Standard Time produces a unique sound by blending vocal harmonies, well-crafted melodies and characteristic improvisation that translates into a high energy sound.

“Like Yonder Mountain String Band before them, these guys are carrying the Rocky Mountain bluegrass sound around the country,” said Crawford Byers, of Rocky Mountain Entertainment, the show promoter. “We’re happy to have them back over the holiday weekend, and the show will be a great warm up for WinterWonderGrass.”
