National Night Out is coming to a neighborhood near you
Country-wide event promotes police partnerships with the community
National Night Out is a community initiative to build stronger and safer neighborhoods and to create good relations between local law enforcement and the people they serve. Started in 1981, National Night Out brings together people from all corners of their communities for block parties, music, cookouts, safety demonstrations, displays and more. The event is held in most areas throughout the country on the first Tuesday in August. Here’s what’s happening in your neighborhood.
