Born Sept. 27, 1953, in Brooklyn, N.Y., Neil and his wife Gaby have been residents of Vail since December 1988. He is fondly remembered as a funny, fun-loving, empathetic, and loyal man.
There will be a memorial service at the Vail Interfaith chapel on at 10 a.m. Monday, followed immediately by interment at the Leadville Hebrew cemetery. There will be a brief graveside service at about noon, and the community is invited to attend. The family will be receiving visitors following the services in the afternoon, and will also be sitting shiva and receiving people in their home both Monday and Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
Neil is survived by wife Gabriela, sons Jason and Zachary, mother Joan Sirotkin, father Marty, brother Mitch, treasured member of the family Rocky, as well as many other friends and family in Colorado and elsewhere.
The family is immensely grateful for the outpouring of love, affection and support they have and continue to receive from their community of dear friends.
