Network of Care workshop is June 11 in Eagle County
EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – Eagle County Health & Human Services and BrightStart will host a luncheon workshop for community agencies interested in participating in the county-sponsored Network of Care Web site. The free event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 11 at the Colorado Mountain College Edwards Campus. Lunch will be provided.Found at http://www.eagle.co.networkofcare.org, Eagle County’s Network of Care Web site serves as a single point of entry to a wide variety of health and human services information pertaining to children and families, seniors and people with disabilities. Agencies that provide services for children, families, seniors or individuals with disabilities can share challenges and ideas, in addition to creating new mechanisms to better serve constituents by utilizing on-line message boards and community calendars with the Network of Care. Once registered with Eagle County, service providers may also build their own free Web site.During the workshop, participants will learn the basics of navigating the Web site, how to direct clients to information sources and may also register as a service provider with the Network of Care.
