New real estate office set to open its doors in Cordillera
CORDILLERA — Eric Lyon, managing broker and owner of Vail Real Estate Group, has opened the first real estate sales office in the Cordillera Valley Club. Lyon’s firm was chosen as the exclusive sales brokerage company for the Club at Cordillera. The firm will have offices in each of Cordillera’s three golf clubhouses this summer.
Lyon said he is thrilled to be to be focusing on Cordillera.
“Each of Cordillera’s four distinct neighborhoods has seen real positive momentum in real estate sales, especially over the last 12 months,” Lyon said.
‘DEMAND OUTWEIGHING SUPPLY’
Since January 2013, more than 400 new club memberships, 55 residences and 37 home sites have been sold in Cordillera.
“Interest in the Valley Club leads the way.” Lyon said. “Demand for real estate is definitely outweighing the supply.”
At this point, there are 11 residences and eight home sites that are for sale in the entire Valley Club, he said. The average list price is $2.2 million for homes and $550,000 for lots.
“I’m looking to change the way real estate is being sold throughout Cordillera, from the inside out. This will benefit both buyers and sellers,” Lyon said. Having a marketing presence inside the club offers a significant advantage, he said.
PRODUCING RESULTS FOR CLIENTS
In the past few weeks, Vail Real Estate Group has secured eight new listings. Lyon said that shows the firm’s hard work, talented marketing team and on-property presence is producing immediate results for clients.
“I strongly believe that visibility is just as important as ability,” Lyon said. “Think about it: You can have the absolute best home in the neighborhood, but if nobody knows about it, it really doesn’t matter.”
ABOUT ERIC LYON
Before launching his own firm, Lyon sold luxury real estate as a broker with Ascent Sotheby’s International Realtors in Vail. Previously he was a broker at the Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch and the Sebastian Hotel and Residences in Vail Village.
“I couldn’t be more excited,” Lyon said about working with the Club at Cordillera. “We’re helping to promote one of the most spectacular luxury golf communities in Colorado, if not the country. Being a club member myself, I have both professional and personal ties to this community.”
