New Year’s Eve party with working class
Mezzaluna hosts a New Year’s Eve party tonight at 9 in Lionshead for members of the service industry who have to work on the 31st.
The cost is $10, which includes appetizers, music and a champange toast.
D.J. Kai will be spinning a wide variety of music, catering to all ages – over 21, of course.
Prizes at the event include a trip for two to Hotel Aspen Square Condos with two lift tickets and a Colorado Ski Pass, which is good at 25 mountains in Colo.
“We want people to get dressed up, and, instead of waiting on people, be waited on themselves,” said Grant Sutherland, part-owner of Mezzaluna.
For tickets or more information, call Mezzaluna at 477-4410.
While policymakers are celebrating a big drop in Colorado’s individual health insurance prices for 2020, they’re also scrambling to combat the sharp decline in the number of carriers in rural parts of the state where 22 of 64 counties have just one option on the Obamacare marketplace.
