Next town of Vail-sponsored Lunch with the Locals event is Wednesday, Nov. 8
VAIL — The town of Vail will sponsor another installment in its Lunch with the Locals series at noon Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Lionshead Welcome Center. Attendees will hear a presentation from aquatic entomologist Dave Rees, of Timberline Aquatics. He will provide an in-depth analysis of the status of Gore Creek based on aquatic macro-invertebrate populations.
Experts from Walking Mountains Science Center, Eagle River Watershed Council, Eagle River Water and Sanitation District and the town of Vail will be on hand to answer questions about what residents can do to help Restore the Gore. There also will be stickers and informational brochures given away to attendees.
