No one hurt in fire in Edwards
Vail, CO Colorado
EDWARDS – A fire destroyed a mobile home Sunday in Edwards.
No one was hurt in the blaze at the Eagle River Mobile Home Park.
The fire was reported at 4:30 p.m., and when firefighters arrived, the home was completely engulfed in flames, said Charlie Moore, chief of the Eagle River Fire Protection District.
” The home is a complete loss,” Moore said.
One person was inside the home at the time of the fire, Moore said. The man reported smelling smoke in the kitchen and left to call 911, Moore said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but information indi-cates that it may have been started accidentally, Moore said.
People in nearby homes were evacuated briefly while firefighters bat-tled the blaze.
