Noise complaint draws cops in Eagle Ranch

EAGLE, Colorado ” Eagle, Colorado police were sent to an Eagle Ranch condo building parking lot last week on a report of a group of men singing and being loud.
According to the report, the call came in at roughly 8 p.m. When the officer arrived, he found a 19-year-old man in the parking lot. The underage man admitted to having consumed a few beers. The officer also spotted a car with three other men inside, who appeared to be intoxicated.
According to the report, the officer asked the 19-year-old to wait in his patrol car while he spoke with the other men. The 19-year-old asked if he was under arrest and the officer told him he was not but he needed to stick around while he dealt with the other men. The teen became argumentative and yelled something to the men in the car.
Eventually, the officer cited the teen for minor in possession and called his mother to take him home. The other men were not charged.
Wildfires have become more numerous, bigger and more destructive in the past 40 years. That’s a big deal in a town surrounded by public land.
