Not content to be a mildly diverting royal bodice ripper set in Tudor England with Eric Bana as Henry VII and Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson as the Boleyn sisters, it spirals out of control into the kind of overwrought dramaturgy it’s ill-prepared to deliver.
