SOS Outreach is a non-profit youth development organization that inspires youth to make positive decisions for successful lives, through outdoor and adventure sports. SOS Outreach strives to provide positive experiences through its programs to underserved youth. Currently, through winter programs alone, they serve 3,200 youth at 42 mountain resorts in the United States and New Zealand. However, with a recent merger to a similar summer program-based organization, SOS Outreach provides 2,000 additional youth programs through summer outdoor adventure education programs. During 2009-’10 SOS Outreach served 5,190 at-risk youth by providing 18,553 total program days. To learn more about SOS Outreach visit http://www.sosoutreach.org.
