Obama campaign opens Eagle County office

Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

EDWARDS, Colorado – President Barack Obama’s re-election team announces the opening of the Eagle County field office. An office opening party for the community is planned for today.

This new Obama campaign office is the first ever to open in Edwards and just one example of the increased number of rural campaign sites in Colorado. While President Obama has most recently been campaigning in the metro areas of Denver, Colorado Springs, and Grand Junction, the campaign has field offices across the state. The Edwards office is the 30th campaign office to open in the state and the sixth office to open on the Western Slope.

The Eagle County Obama field office grand opening is today at 5:30 p.m. The office is located at 105 Edwards Village Blvd., right next to the Edwards post office. Food and drink will be served and local candidates and campaign staff will offer comments. This event is open to the public and media. Call Dylan Roberts, deputy field director, at 970-209-8403 with questions.
