Obama outspending McCain in Colorado TV ads
DENVER, Colorado – Public records show Barack Obama is spending four times more money on television advertising in Colorado than John McCain in the final days before the election.
The Rocky Mountain News reports the records show Obama has reserved $400,000 to McCain’s $100,000 in Denver’s KUSA-TV, KCNC-TV, KMGH-TV, and KDVR-TV from Friday through Tuesday.
According to records McCain has also scaled back on advertising spending in Denver during the last few weeks as Obama has surged in the polls. An Associated Press-Gfk poll released Wednesday showed Obama ahead of McCain 50 percent to 41 percent among likely voters. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
