Obamas making themselves at home in Colorado
PUEBLO, Colorado – Barack and Michelle Obama are practically part-time residents in Colorado. They’re headlining a rally Saturday in Pueblo, the second trip to Colorado in a week for both.
And Michelle Obama returns for yet another get-out-the-vote rally in the Denver area on Monday, hours before polls open. Michelle Obama has also given solo stump appearances in Boulder and Colorado Springs.
It is Obama’s fourth visit to Colorado since accepting the Democratic nomination in Denver in August.
Not content with just the candidate, Democrats have also lined up rallies with other party members Saturday. Former presidential candidate Wesley Clark of Arkansas will address voters Saturday in Fort Collins and Fountain before heading to Pueblo to join the Obamas.
