Coughlin service set for Saturday

Daily Staff Writer

Roger Coughlin died in his home March 3, with his wife, Linda, at his side.

Born in Rochester, N.Y., on Oct. 25, 1945, friends say he loved the mountains he lived in and the friendships he built since moving out West in 1978 with Linda, whom he had known since high school. Over the years, he worked for various electrical contractors in the valley before starting his own business, Lectric Unlimited, which he owned and operated for 10 years, turning employees into friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Welch, his mother, Marion Coughlin of Rochester, N.Y., his daughter, Heather Coughlin of Burlington, Vt.; Bill W., his friend of 16 years; and his puppy, Nikita.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Donovan Pavilion in West Vail. Donations in Coughlin’s name can be made to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.
