Edythe Replogle, formerly of Edwards, died Aug. 9
Edythe M. Replogle of Bear Rocks, Pa., and recently of Edwards, died at age 94 at the Vail Valley Medical Center, Aug. 9.
Replogle was one of the first public health nurses in Philadelphia and was a real estate agent later in her life. She retained her nurse’s license for 60 years and was happy to take anyone’s blood pressure when asked, family members say.
She often had lunch at the Minturn Senior Center and spent time with her great-grandson, Kyle.
She was a life-long Presbyterian and sang in the choir. She found much comfort in her faith and enjoyed attending the Eagle River Presbyterian Church, family members say.
Edythe is survived by her daughter, Sarah Smith, and son in-law, Norman Smith, of Edwards; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Connors of Maple Shade, N.J.; stepson, John Replogle and wife, Kathy, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and stepson, Jim Replogle, of Seattle, Wash.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her son, Jack Connors, and husband, J. Clair Replogle preceded her in death.
