Jerry Snively, Lodge Tower engineer, died Sunday

Jerome “Jerry” Patrick Snively left his earthly home on Sunday at Vail Valley Medial Center. He was 61.

Jerry was the chief engineer at Lodge Tower for 21 years. He had lived in Colorado since 1972.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Ervin Snively and his mother Marguerite Snively Loftus.

He is survived by his twin brother Tom (Carolyn) Snively, of Yorktown, Pa.; sisters Judy (David) Schloff and Sandra Short, of Chesapeake, Va.; and other family members and close friends.

Jerry was a friend to everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for him and have comforted us in our time of loss.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at Lodge Tower from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jerry Snively Memorial Fund at the Lodge Tower, 200 Vail Rd., Vail, CO 81657.
