Lisa Marie Helgesen Hatcher, 1953-2006
Lisa Marie Helgesen Hatcher, of Sevierville, Tenn., who was a former longtime Vail resident, died at her home Jan. 28 after a long illness. She was 52.
Hatcher was born July 7, 1953 in Janesville, Wisc., the daughter of Donald Helgesen and Marianne (Peterson) Cullen. She graduated from Janesville Craig High School in 1971 and attended Drake University.
She married Ron Hatcher on Feb. 14, 1995. She owned American Legacies Art Gallery in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
Hatcher was preceded in death by her mother, Marianne Cullen, and her husband, Ron.
Survivors include her father, Donald W Helgesen of Janesville; brother Jeffery Helgesen and his wife, Michelle, of Janesville; sister Gina Helgesen Groom of Littleton, Colo.; stepfather J.P. Cullen of Janesville; stepchildren Jason, Krista and Kate Hatcher; nephews Blake Dimeff and Adam and Josh Helgesen; and several stepbrothers, stepsisters, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
