Local legend DelBosco, 44, dies
Dana Amanda DelBosco died peacefully in her home Jan. 22, surrounded by loved ones. She was 44.
DelBosco was born in Tucson, Ariz., to Dennis Ann and Armando “Del” DelBosco. She moved to Vail in 1983 after graduating from Mills College in Oakland, Calif.
Dana’s love of theater led her to a career as an event manager, production manager, booking agent and talent buyer, eventually establishing her own company, Resort Entertainment, in 1995 in Edwards.
Her family and friends said she was passionate about her community and was involved in numerous charities, foundations and community groups throughout the Vail Valley over the past 20 years. They said her creativity, generosity of spirit and willingness to roll up her sleeves and get the job done are legendary. Dana’s deep love of the arts, music, poetry and life itself enriched the lives of those who knew her.
Dana’s greatest accomplishment is her son Jackson, and more than any accolades or awards, of him she was most proud, friends and family said.
