Mamie Curry, Edwards resident, died Thursday

Mamie Segars Curry, an Edwards resident, died Thursday. She was 56. Curry was born in Hartsville, S.C. to Mamie Lawton Segars and the late Gosnold Graham Segars. She graduated from Anderson Junior College and the Massey Institute of Design in Atlanta. She worked for 35 years in the interior design business. Curry was a member of Vail Bible Church. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Madeline Ricca. She is survived by her husband, James Curry of Edwards; son Jay Curry of Eagle-Vail; daughter Kellie and her husband, John Ricca, of Eagle-Vail; her mother, Mamie Lawton Segars of Hartsville; brothers and sisters-in-law Goz and Pat Segars, and Bill and Debbie Segars, all of Hartsville; and grandchildren Cordry Ricca, Claire Ricca and Marilyn Ricca. Funeral services were held Monday at the Kelleytown Baptist Church in Hartsville. Vail, Colorado
