Born 1931 in Miami FL. A Navy man, Fire Fighter, Private Pilot, Offshore Powerboat World Record holder, Father, Husband, Brother and Friend. He died in Tucson following a short illness. He loved excitement, setting records with engines that made lots of noise. He was a quiet thoughtful man full of life’s stories that would make you smile. A friend recently said, “He was a Jack of All Trades, but unlike most of us hacks, he was a Master of All”. Fitting too for Gene’s life is “if you want to find out where the road goes, get in the fast lane and HIT the gas!” Karin, Gene’s wife, Judy-Sister, family, friends, and his 2 Westies, Lillibelle and Oskar will all miss him so much.
