Tamara (Tami) Richardson passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at a hospice in Grand Junction. She is survived by her daughter, Landon Law, and mother Jan Knudsen. Landon, Jan, and Bob Law were by her side as she passed away. Tami had suffered from cancer for 14 years and fought bravely with its effects until the end.
Tami was born in Napa California and moved to the Vail area in 1988 where she worked in real estate for both Century 21 and McInerny/Mcvey real estate companies before she moved to Palisade, CO in 1998 and thrived on her 10 acre farm with horses, chickens, and pups. She loved to ski and ride horseback. She began her love for horses by living at the Calhoun ranch in Lake Creek and from then won many equestrian events including medal in Ski Joring where her horse Pinga would pull skiers to victory. Tami will be missed by all of her loyal girl friends in addition to family in all of Vail, Eagle, and Grand valleys who enjoyed yearly camping trips all over the Rockies and especially Moab, Utah. She was very thoughtful of all her campettes and always was the first and loudest in giving praise.
Tami’s memorial service will be held Saturday, December 7th, 2:00 PM at Canyon View Vinyards Church in Grand Junction, CO.
