Peter Apostol died Wednesday

Peter Apostol ” a father, husband, brother and friend ” died Wednesday after a long fight against brain cancer.

Family members and friends said Apostol “gave all he had to assure the happiness of his two children, Nikita and Andreas.”

“His strong love for his wife, Susann, was always apparent. She was his life,” family members and friends said. “Peter always had a way of bringing out the best in people, they saw his good spirit and optimism and rejoiced in it.”

“Everyone who knew him was touched by him ” for the better.”

A celebration of Apostol’s life will be held at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail. The family would appreciate it if those who are joining them brought a food dish of their choice.
