John L. Rodacker Jr. died Monday between Eagle and Gypsum on U.S. Highway 6 while driving a lumber truck for the Alpine Lumber company.

Rodacker loved many people and many things, and his brother, Kade, and sister Olivia were always a source of happiness for him, family members said.

He loved riding horses, snowboarding playing with his brother and sister and spending time with his friends, family members said.

Rodacker’s quick wit and affectionate hugs will be terribly missed as he always knew when you needed one, family members said.

Kym Manula, Div Manula, sister Elizabeth Rodacker and John Rodacker Sr. of Washington state would like to thank all of the wonderful people in the Vail Valley with whom they shared Rodacker.
