Ty Clark, snowboard instructor, died Monday

Longtime local and Summerville, N.J., native Ty Clark died Monday from complications due to asthma. He was 30.

This past year he and fiancee Rhonda Doyle split their time between Beaver Creek, where he was a snowboard instructor and she was a ski school supervisor, and Ridgway, Colo., where he was a real estate agent for Telluride Properties.

The funeral will be on Tuesday, May 2, in East Brunswick, N.J. A memorial will be held in Telluride on Friday, May 5, and a date will soon be announced for a Vail memorial.
