Vail Daily obituary: Darla Goodell

One of Minturn’s most beloved, Darla Goodell, 68, passed away Oct. 2.

Darla is survived by mother, Betty Sanders; brother Frank Sanders; daughter Audrey; and granddaughters Marsadee and Jazzie.

Darla, lifelong resident and ambassador of Minturn. The Turntable Restaurant & Motel, Darla’s legacy, was more than a place for morning coffee. Along with a delicious Boo’s breakfast burrito, Darla served guests a slice of Minturn’s history.

Celebration on Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. at Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy, Minturn. Darla loved Elvis and the Broncos — sport your Broncos gear or ’50s flair. There will be lottery tickets in lieu of flowers, to benefit Minturn seniors.
