Vail Daily obituary: Elizabeth E. Lovato, 1933-2016

Beth went to find her eternal spot in the sunshine on Aug. 5 surrounded by the family who loved her dearly.

Beth led a life of strength and perseverance. Raising six kids, and the abundant family that followed, built the aforementioned traits and often brought out her creative problem-solving. From watching baseball games, to joining bowling leagues, to finding ways to pay for all those little things her grandkids always needed, Beth was not afraid to make sacrifices for those she loved. A woman of few words, she was still a powerful communicator — she could often say more with a point of her finger than most of us can say with a mouthful. She was the root of our hearts and the love she leaves can only grow.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, and daughter Cathy; she is survived by two sons, three daughters, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
