Vail Daily obituary: Liseria Shirley ¬タリShea¬タル Lopez-Lucero, 1947-2016

Liseria Shirley ¬タワShea¬タン Lopez-Lucero, 68, of Minturn. She was born Aug. 27, 1947, to Dennis and Maria ¬タワLola¬タン Lopez. Shirley was always smiling and laughing. She had more energy than the Energizer bunny ¬タヤ even up until last week. This lady was tough as nails and super gentle at the same time. A tiny little frame but a large, lively presence; an anxious soul, but found gardening and collecting knickknacks to be soothing. She loved everyone and worked hard to keep people happy; she hated conflict. She never slowed down and was super positive ¬タヤ even as her cancer metastasized.
Shirley passed away July 27, 2016, in the early morning, peacefully, in her home in Minturn. She was at peace and ready to be with our loved ones who await her in heaven. The Lopez family and many friends will miss her so much ¬タヤ she brought so much joy to everyone.
Shirley is survived by daughter Lory (Anthony) Martinez; grandchildren Nicole (Yolanda), Anthony Jr. and Rosemary Martinez; significant other Marc Hennesse; brother Jerry (Stephanie) Lopez; and sisters Bella (Bill) Darnell, Lorraine Lopez, Sandra Smaller, Patricia (Eloy) Lopez; nieces Barbie Lopez, Anna Darnell, Valerie Lopez-Rennon; nephews Jerry Jr., Leroy Lopez, Joseph Smaller, Zack, Cory (Bill) Darnell and William and Naomi Rapier. May God hold her in his arms until we all meet again one day.
A Rosary will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick¬タルs Church in Minturn. A memorial Mass service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Minturn. Reception to follow at the Minturn parish.
