Vail Daily obituary: Michael Oliver, 1952-2016

Michael “Mike” Oliver, born July 22, 1952, died March 13. He was born in Greybull, Wyoming, to John and Doris Oliver.

Mike was a longtime local and friend to many. He, his wife, Debbie, stepson, Gary, and stepdaughter, April, moved to the valley in 1988. Mike was the owner and founder of Tomahawk Masonry.

Mike is survived by his wife, Debbie Oliver; nephew, Josh (Karla) Wyatt; stepdaughter, April Hoskins; grandson Christian Holder; granddaughter McKella Walsh; granddaughter Madalyn Silva; great-grandson, Payton Holder; father, John Oliver; brother Dan (Lori) Oliver; brother Steve (Rita) Oliver; sister Terry (Lonny) Howe; sister Sheila (Dean) Waldorf; brother Tim Oliver; and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Becky Oliver; grandson Peyton Holder; and stepson, Gary Walsh.
