Vail Daily obituary: Norma Jean Berger, 1933-2015
Norma Jean (Limbach) Berger, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caregiver to many Colorado children, passed away in Colorado Springs on Wednesday. An accomplished painter, she captured many of Colorado’s magnificent places with her brushes.
She was born in 1933 in Denver Colorado and was raised with two sisters, Paula Limbach and Marcia (Limbach) Houlihan. She married Jerry Berger in 1952 and together they had seven children.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Berger, Karl (and Jennifer) Berger, Carol Berger, Amy Berger, Cassidy Berger and Sara Berger. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Becky, Kate, Maggie, Natalie, Luke, Bailey, Quinn, Kelly and Jack, as well as her great-grandchildren, Alena, Riley, Jaxson and Cole.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th St., Denver. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rocky Mountain Pace, 2335 Robinson St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904, in Norma’s memory.
