Glenwood Springs Post Independent
Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

Law enforcement officers seized a large marijuana growing operation on Cattle Creek Road on Thursday.

The operation included about 928 marijuana plants, with most ranging from 4-5 feet in height, with a street value of around $2 million. From information gathered at the scene it appears that this grow has been well established for some time.

This grow is the largest in Garfield County history, exceeding a seizure last year in Battlement Mesa with more than 800 plants.

TRIDENT officers were assisted by the Garfield County All Hazards Response Team, Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Vail Police Department.
