Oktoberfest lands in Lionshead Friday through Sunday
Kris Robertson of Lombard, Illinois gets a little help from local Ben Stratton during her turn at keg bowling at last year’s Lionshead Oktoberfest festivities. Oktoberfest returns to Lionshead Friday through Sunday. Keg bowling takes place at 4 p.m.
Here’s a look at Saturday’s schedule:
Saturday, Lionshead Mall & Vail Square
Noon: Oktoberfest opens
Noon to 2 p.m.: Helmut Fricker and the Rhinelanders Band
Noon to 5 p.m.: Kids area with entertainers open
1 to 2 p.m.: Denver Kickers Schuplattler Dancers
2 to 2:30 p.m.: Klement’s bratwurst rating contest
2:30 to 4 p.m.: Helmut Fricker and the Rhinelanders Band
2:30 to 4 p.m.: Denver Kickers Schuplattler Dancers
3:30 p.m.: Bavarian Costume Contest
4 to 5 p.m.: Adult Keg Bowling Contest
5 to 7 p.m.: Walters Austrian Swiss Connection
7 p.m.: Stein Lifting Competition
7:30 to 9:30 p.m.: Robby Peoples and the Bank Walkers
10 p.m.: Oktoberfest closes for the day
