On the Hill: Snow still soft in Vail trees
Brought to you by and the .Vail official report: 0″ new snowWeather: Warm and cloudy Liftline status: Liftlines not bad at all todayRun of the day: The Blue Sky Basin run “In the Wuides,” named after longtime Vail local Paul Testwuide, was groomed today Breakdown: With the cold nights and warm days we’ve been having, the conditions in the morning aren’t the best. The surface is hard, but has been starting to get warm and soft by noon or so. The locals who get out today will likely wait until afternoon, and it’s no wonder why. Nevertheless, the groomers in the morning are fast and fun, especially if you’re one of the first people on them. Snowcast: Let’s hope we return to snowy winter conditions by next week — there’s something on the radar headed our way.
