On the Hill: Still snowing at Vail
Brought to you by and the .Vail official report: 4″ new snowVail Daily field report: Only half an inch of fresh this morningWeather: Cloudy with light snowflakes coming down; visibility is lowLiftline status: Typical Monday — lines not bad at allRun of the day: Riva was groomed, but the Riva Glade may be a better choice due to visibilityBreakdown: The surface is running nicely at Vail thanks to the five inches of new snow we received out of this last storm. It’s still coming down out there, nice light flakes, but the clouds that are bringing them down are seriously compromising the visibility out there. Find a run with some trees to best enjoy the new snow. Snowcast: Forecasters say it should continue slightly today, let up tomorrow and Wednesday, and then there may be more on the way for this weekend.
