On the Hill: Time to plant your garden
Today’s activity: High alpine gardening.
Today’s weather: Cloudy, about 65 degrees without much sunshine.
Forecast: It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, but may clear up for sunny skies by the weekend, say forecasters.
Conditions: With all the late snowfall we saw this winter, many Vail residents waited a little longer to start their planting. Now that things have dried out, the north side of the freeway is looking green and lush, and with rain expected over the next few days, now is a good time to get out and swing the pickhoe.
