Brought to you by and the .Vail official report: 1″ new snowVail daily field report: 1″ soft and slippery snowLiftline status: Nothing at Chair 6, Vail Village was looking crowded from Devo traffic, though.Weather: Cloudy with a crisp breeze in the airRun of the day: Ruder’s Run, in honor of the late Leonard Ruder’s birthday. He would have been 93 today.Breakdown: Last night’s snowflakes were just a dusting, but we’ll take it. The inch of fresh snow layered very nicely over the existing surface at Vail this morning — the groomers have an inch of ego dust on top for you to really carve into some turns and kick up some snow behind you. Visibility wasn’t the best, wear a pink lens if you have one. “With a bit of extra snow and the corduroy underneath, it’s a pretty sweet run this morning,” Vail native Bob Ruder said of the terrain on Golden Peak today.Snowcast: Looks like the snow’s going to fall today and tonight.
