On the Hill video ski report: 3-5 new inches of powdery snow at Vail
Brought to you by and the .Vail official report: 3″ new snow 3-5 inches very light and slippery snowWeather: Snowy, not too coldLiftline status: Chairs 6 and 10 are deadRun of the day: Roger’s, in honor of his Olympic victory on (or about) this day in 1960Breakdown: Another few inches hit Vail last night and this morning, and the snow is very light and fluffy, making it face-shot snow at less than 6 iches. Be careful riding it, as you’re likely to glide over it or through it like it’s not there, and the bottom surface you’ll scrape might not be so comfortable underneath your feet. But it’s great skiing out there, great day to get out and enjoy Vail. Snowcast: Looks like it should continue intermittently for the next few days.
